Welcome to The Soifer Center

The Soifer Center is a multi-disciplinary child development center providing assessment, therapeutic and advocacy services for children who are struggling with language and speech, literacy and learning, social and emotional, or other academic challenges.

The Soifer Center team is recognized for its interdisciplinary approach and commitment to answering a crucial question for every family - "Who is this child?".

Language and speech pathologists, clinical and neuropsychologists, special educators and reading teachers work together to diagnose, remediate and act as educational advocates for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, and their families.

We listen. We explain. We are devoted to educating parents about their child in a warm, personal environment. The Soifer Center team gives families information, support, time and caring as we determine how a child thinks, learns, feels and succeeds.

We are planning to publish a section titled The Community. In this section, the content will be more dynamic (i.e., continually updated) and interactive.

Interested in where Soifer Center staff is doing presentations? In The Community, you will find schedules of when and where we will be presenting and discussing topics of interest be it for a parent's association, a non-profit institution, or for people sharing a specialized interest in education (e.g., teachers, lawyers, etc.).

At some point, we hope to publish a section titled Your Child. We plan to cover the physical, intellectual, and social foundations and markers/milestones associated with growth and development as they apply to academic performance.

We want to, as soon as practical, have a secured area for families to access documents and reports, schedule appointments, and securely communicate with us.

We are exploring these and other possibilities. We welcome hearing from you on what you would like to see us include.
